Each tour session launches and returns to the river’s edge location at 2015 N Three Rocks Rd (which has no dock). Guests need to be physically able to walk to the river’s edge through a grass field. Each registered guest needs to be fit enough to navigate getting in and out of their kayak without a dock. One or two staff will be onsite and available to physically assist, as needed.
Guests should only enter the property from the N Three Rocks Rd field entrance at the east end of the property/field. There is a gravel parking lot. Look for the SALMON RIVER WOODEN KAYAK COMPANY REGISTERED GUEST PARKING sign.
The tour times vary daily depending on high tide. This is a sea river area with changing tide levels, kayak tours happen just prior to high tide each day. You can view forecasted high tide information here
No. It will be rescheduled to a day that works for you/your group, or a full refund will be provided. We do not tour on forecasted rainy days due to our unique wooden kayak inventory which we aim to keep in beautiful condition for our guests.
In the event that there are unusually high winds forecast or happening the day of your session, we may reschedule the tour. We want the experience to be relaxing and enjoyable, not paddling against unusually high winds.
